Jeroma's Story

Jeroma was a street girl, she lived a hard life, as a drug addict, and the mother of children birthed in poverty. Jeroma found herself left in a drunken stupor beside a dead body. She was arrested, and spent 4 years in Pollesmore prison awaiting trial for murder. Due to lack of evidence Jeroma was acquitted, and she went to reside at The Ark, a broken woman. There she was loved, believed in, healed from her lack of belief in herself, and she came alive, vibrant and full of hope; she had purpose and wanted to help and serve other people. Jeroma now teaches a class of Year 5 children, loving them, believing in them, teaching them.
